Wpdesigner.com’s Looking for Dedicated Hosting

Updated on

It’s time to move to another host again. Although Wpdesigner is averaging only 1500 uniques per day, every time this blog increase in traffic, it grows by 30% to 50%. In a short period of time, surely, I’ll have my hands full with this blog. Other than speed and stability for Wpdesigner’s traffic, I’ll also need the flexibility of reseller hosting to manage smaller projects. Therefore, I’m looking for the following requirements:

  • Intel P4 2.8 GHz
  • 1024 DDR RAM
  • 80GB Hard Drive
  • 1500GB Bandwidth
  • 100Mbps Port
  • 3 IPs and up
  • CPanel/WHM
  • Fantastico
  • WordPress

Unlike most web host clients, I’ll actually use most of the resources. And given that this blog is powered by WordPress, it’ll probably use quite a bit of SQL and CPU resources. Other than the requirements above, I need a host that will allow me some room to grow (lots of upgrade options and low overage fees). Wpdesigner is going to be a very high traffic blog. I’m looking to move to a new host and stay permanently. My budget is around $100/month. I’m also open to sponsorship deals.

I need your help. Please let me know if you have any good dedicated host to suggest.

P.S. – I paid for dedicated hosting yesterday and have been unhappy with this one particular host. To think, my server is not even up yet. How can I trust them enough to host with them in the long run? Right now, I’m requesting for a refund and still looking for a host to move to.
